Make Exercising Fun for Your Kids to Keep Them Healthy

Kids, who eat a lot of junk food and spend most of their time in playing indoor games or staying at home, end up becoming an obese. So it is important to engage kids in exercise to prevent them from gaining weight. If your kids can’t exercise then make exercise fun for them by including different games and sports in exercise.

During workouts adults want to go farther, faster and longer but children’s muscles fatigue faster, so exercising for a long time can cause pain or injury in their body.   • Mimic a superhero- Most kids like superheroes and wishes to be a superhero like Spiderman, Flash or superman. Select some moves which are identical to the moves of these superheroes and make your child follow these moves. Like if your son likes flash then encourage him to run quickly for a short distance, it may sound absurd to you but your kid is going to like this very much.
  • Hoop dance- Hula hoops are great for strengthening your kids, kids enjoy dancing with a hula hoop, and even it is great for adults too. Just bring a kid-size hoop for your kid and include you and other kids in the dance to make it more fun.
  • Playground Olympics- You can use instruments in park to create mini Olympics in the playground with swings, slides and monkey bars. Your kids will like this idea very much and will take part in different activities with great interest.
  • Jump on the trampoline- Studies show that jumping on a trampoline is as effective as running for half an hour. Kids like jumping on a trampoline and it is great for their motor skills, coordination and balance.
